"Some of the most fiendishly clever twists I've ever seen in a thriller." @carriereadsthem_all ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐\
What did you do, Rose?\
Rose still dreams about him sometimes. Not the handsome teacher who took a special interest in her, but the way he looked that day, like he was afraid of her. What have you done? Did you do something bad? What did you do, Rose?\
She was only thirteen years old. She doesn’t remember much about that year, only that she was obsessed with him, and that she’d got it into her head that he might be in love with her. And that she went crazy.\
Ten years later, and Rose never thinks about him anymore, or what she did. But that was before she lost her old diary. Before she saw it again in a bookstore window, with someone else’s name on the cover. Diary of an Octopus: a coming-of-age novel by Emily Harper.\
Before her carefully constructed life blew up in her face.\
Now Rose must find Emily Harper and get her diary back before it’s too late. Because she may not have written everything down, but she wrote enough. And if he ever reads it…\
Except not everything is what it seems, and not every memory can be trusted. And by the time Rose realizes that... it's already too late.
